Environment Pollution Paragraph
Pollution in the Environment
The environment is where people, animals, and plants live, including the air, water, and land. People, animals, plants, air, water, and soil are all parts of the environment. Sadly, our environment is getting dirtier all the time. Pollution happens when harmful things get into the environment and cause bad effects. As more people live on Earth, there are more factories, machines, and cars. These things make yucky fumes and a gas called carbon monoxide. This dirty air is called air pollution. When air is polluted, people might cough and have trouble breathing.
Even the ground we walk on can get dirty from trash. The big rivers we have are in really bad shape. Some are already dead, and many others are very sick. People dump bad chemicals and garbage into rivers. This hurts the water and the living things in it. We can't make all the pollution go away, but we can make less of it. We need to be careful and do things to stop pollution. First, everyone needs to know about pollution and how to stop it. Planting more trees can help clean the air. Also, fixing the way we deal with dirty water can stop water pollution a lot. Most important, we have to live in a way that doesn't make pollution. This way, we can keep Earth clean and nice.
