Gardening as a Creative Hobby Composition
Gardening as Hobby
A hobby is something people enjoy doing for pleasure during their free time. It's not their main job, but it brings joy and relaxation. Almost everyone has a hobby that doesn't make money but provides happiness and relief from the stress of everyday life.
Hobbies differ from person to person. Some enjoy fishing, collecting stamps, photography, reading books, or gardening. My favorite hobby is gardening, and I like it a lot.
Gardening gives me more pleasure than anything else. Even though my main focus is on studying as a student, I need a break from the classroom and want to refresh my mind and body by working in my garden. It helps me forget my worries and is good for my health too.
I have a garden in front of my reading room, and I work there whenever I have free time. I use a spade to loosen the soil, remove weeds, and plant new flowers. I take care of the plants, watering them regularly in the morning and evening. I've also built a strong fence around the garden to protect it from animals and kids.
I've planted various flowers like roses, china-roses, marigolds, chamelis, belis, gandharajs, sunflowers, rajanigandhas, and many others. My garden is always full of flowers.
I chose gardening as my hobby because I love flowers. They bring me joy and refresh my mind. The beauty of the flowers inspires purity in my thoughts and actions. The scent of the morning air, filled with different flower fragrances, makes it easier for me to study attentively. Bees, butterflies, and little birds visiting for honey make the garden even more beautiful with their natural sounds.
Gardening also teaches me about life. It shows that different flowers bloom and fade away with time, reminding me of a meaningful lyric by Robert Herrick, "To Daffodils." Through gardening, I learn valuable lessons about life and find endless joy and inspiration for my mind. It helps me let go of the past and understand the truths of human life.
