Premature Marriage Paragraph
Getting married means a man and a woman become partners in a special way that the law recognizes. This partnership is considered holy. However, when people get married at a young age, it's called premature marriage. If someone gets married before they've fully grown up, both physically and mentally, it's a problem.
Our rules say that if girls marry before they turn 18 or boys before they turn 21, it's premature marriage. This especially happens to girls from poor families in rural areas, whose parents might not know much and cannot read or write. Many things contribute to premature marriage: not being educated, misunderstanding religion, believing in things that are not true, being scared of what others think, not having jobs, and being very poor.
Premature marriage leads to many problems in our society. Girls are hurt by their husbands and their families because of money they want (called dowry). If these girls can't do what their husbands want, they get hurt even more. Sometimes, they are hurt so badly that they die, or they decide to end their own lives. When young girls become mothers too soon, their babies might be unhealthy and sick. The mothers also have health problems like being very weak and sick. Sometimes, the babies die before they're even born.
To stop premature marriage, we need to make sure girls get an education. It's good that the government now says girls have to go to school and it's free. Parents need to be careful and send their kids to school. Girls should also have more chances to work so they can support themselves. We should make stricter rules to stop premature marriage from happening.
