To Rescue a Drowning Boy Story
It was a sunny morning that was shining really bright. I was on my way to college with some of my buddies. We were in a really funny and happy mood because we were discussing our plan to go on a picnic. Suddenly, I heard scared screams from some kids who were next to a big and deep pond. I hurried over to them and asked what was wrong. They all talked at once and pointed to a little boy who was about to drown in the pond. I didn't waste any time and jumped into the pond, doing my best to swim. When I got to the boy who was in trouble, I lifted his face above the water so he could breathe. Then, I put him on my shoulders and swam back to the edge of the pond as fast as I could.
I knew what to do because my uncle, who is a doctor in our village, had taught me how to help someone who is drowning. I followed his advice, and soon the boy started to feel better. A bunch of people from the village had gathered around me by this time. The boy's parents were also there, running over with tears in their eyes. I comforted them by telling them that their child was safe. They were so relieved and happy that they couldn't even talk. They just cried tears of joy.
When I was getting ready to leave, they gave me their blessings with all their hearts and asked me to visit their home whenever I wanted. I said yes and left for college with a really happy feeling inside me.
