A dialogue between you and Karim about traffic signal

Myself: Hey, Karim! How's it going?
Karim: I'm good, and you?
Myself: I'm doing well too. Hi, Karim, do you have any knowledge about traffic signals?
Karim: Apologies, I have never encountered them. Could you enlighten me on the subject?
Myself: Certainly. Traffic signals are used in urban areas to control vehicular movement. They consist of three lights of different colors, arranged vertically on a pole. The red signal indicates to stop, while the green signal allows vehicles to proceed. There's also a yellow signal, which serves as a warning to prepare for the next signal.
Karim: Impressive, you seem to know a lot! Anything else you can tell me?
Myself: Yes, indeed. In modern times, traffic lights are automated and computerized. Vehicles are permitted to move ahead when the light is green, but they must come to a halt when faced with a red light.
Karim: Thank you so much for the information.
Myself: You're welcome.
