A Journey By Boat Composition
I like trips. When I go on a trip, I feel happy. But the best trip for me is by boat. Bangladesh has many rivers, so it's easy to travel by boat. Boat trips are interesting and enjoyable. Whenever I get a chance to go on a boat trip, I use it.
A few days ago, I went on a boat trip from Mongla to Paikgachha during my autumn break.
There were four of us, and we rented a big boat. The boatman and the oarsmen were friendly. We had breakfast early in the morning and started at 8 am. The sky was clear, and the weather was good. The river was calm and full. The boatman rowed for a while, and then we sailed. The boat moved smoothly, and we saw beautiful sights on both sides of the river. There were green fields, rice fields, jute fields, and trees full of flowers and fruits. It was delightful to see. We also saw boys and girls playing in the water, fishermen catching fish, and women fetching water in pitchers.
At noon, we reached a market. The boatman stopped the boat, and we went ashore. We bought rice, eggs, a big fish, and sweets. The boatman gave us an oven and fuel to cook our food. After cooking and eating, the boatmen rested for a while, and then we continued our journey.
We wanted to reach our destination before sunset, so the boatmen rowed faster. In the late afternoon, we enjoyed the beautiful sunset. As it got darker, we finally reached our destination.
This boat trip left a lasting impression on my heart. It brought me much joy and became one of the most memorable days of my life.
