Finding Out a Contented Man Story

Once upon a time, there was a smart and thoughtful man who built a big house. He put a message on the front gate that said, "Whoever can show they're truly happy will get this house." One day, a person passing by saw the message. They knocked on the gate's door and asked to speak with the smart man about the house.

When they met, the person said, "I've come to get the house because I'm a happy person." The smart man asked, "How can you prove that you're happy?" The person replied, "I always feel joyful when I think about getting new things." The smart man responded, "Someone who's content feels good about what they already have. You're not truly content because you're not happy with where you are right now. You always want more." Hearing this, the person realized their greed and left, feeling embarrassed.
