Mother's Day Paragraph

Mother's Day is a time to show love and appreciation to mothers and all things related to being a mom. It happens on different days in different places around the world, usually in March or May. People started celebrating it in the United States a long time ago. Now, many countries also celebrate it, often by copying the Western way. 

In Bangladesh, people have been celebrating Mother's Day for a few years now. They celebrate it on the second Sunday of May. On this day, people tell their mothers they love them. They also give gifts like clothes, cakes, flowers, cards, phones, sweets, ice cream, and mugs. They want to be very close to their mothers and make them happy. 

The government and other groups organize discussions and events on this day. There are cultural programs and parties in the capital city. TV shows and newspapers have special things for Mother's Day. People buy a lot of cards, flowers, and gifts for their moms from the stores.
