Swift and a Hotel Boy Story
A Tale of Swift and a Young Hotel Worker
Once upon a time, a man named Jonathan Swift went to a hotel to eat. He really enjoyed the food there. He was very happy with a young boy who worked at the hotel. He wanted to do something nice for the boy. So, he called the boy and gave him some money. He said, "Take this money and buy whatever you want, but there's one rule. You can only buy things that are made in Ireland, not from other countries."
The boy smiled and agreed. He left the place happily. After about two hours, he came back to Swift holding many books. When Swift saw the books, he was surprised. He asked the boy, "Wow! Did you buy all these books?"
"Yes, sir," the boy replied. "These books are completely Irish, just like you said. The author of these books is from our country. Nobody writes such great stories like these."
Moral of the story: People who know valuable things can recognize other valuable things.
