Tit for Tat Story
Tit for Tat – A Tale of Fairness
Once upon a time, there were two guys traveling on a train together. One was from England and felt really proud because he was English. The other was from Bengal and didn't pay much attention to the Englishman's boasting. He just went to sleep calmly.
While the Bengal guy was asleep, the Englishman did something sneaky. He took the Bengal guy's shoes and threw them out of the window. Then the Englishman went to sleep too. When the Bengal guy woke up, he couldn't find his shoes. He figured out what had happened. So, he decided to do something in return.
He saw the Englishman's long coat hanging on the wall of the train compartment. The Bengal guy took the coat and threw it out of the window. Then he went back to sleep.
The next morning, the Englishman woke up and realized his coat was missing. He got really upset and yelled, "Where's my coat?" The Bengal guy calmly said, "Your coat went to get my shoes." The Bengal guy's real name was Sir Asutosh Mukherjee, and people called him "The Tiger of Bengal."
This story teaches us a simple lesson: Treat others the way you want to be treated. It's all about fairness and respect.
