The Brave Cowherd Story

Once upon a time, in a village, there was a person who took care of cows. He was called a cowherd. One morning, he went out with his cows to a field near a bridge where trains passed. The cows were eating the grass in the field, and the cowherd was walking along the track where trains ran. He went up to the bridge and looked around. "Oh no! Someone has taken out a piece of the train track," he thought to himself. "A fast train will come over this bridge in about an hour, and there could be a big crash!"

He knew the train would come from one side, so he saw the train coming towards him really fast. He took off his shirt and started waving it to get the train driver's attention. The person driving the train saw him from far away and started blowing the train's whistle, but the cowherd didn't move from the train track. The driver had to stop the train to avoid hitting him. The driver was really mad at the cowherd. He got down from the train and went up to him. He hit the cowherd on the face and pushed him away from the track. The cowherd fell on the ground. After some time, he asked for water. The driver gave him a glass of water, and the cowherd drank it. Then, he stayed quiet for a moment and told the driver everything that happened.

The driver and the person in charge of the train were amazed when they heard the cowherd's story. They were impressed by his cleverness and bravery. "Thank you so much! Thank you so much!" said the driver and the person in charge. "You saved the lives of many people on the train, even though you didn't think about your own safety. You are a very courageous boy! May God bless you!"
