The Rainy Season of Bangladesh Composition

The Rainy Season in Bangladesh

Bangladesh has six seasons, and the rainy season is one of them. It happens during the Bangla months of Ashar and Shravan.

In the rainy season, the sky often has many clouds. Strong winds blow, and there are flashes of lightning and loud thunder. The sun stays hidden behind the clouds, and heavy rains pour down. Sometimes, it rains continuously for many days, and the low-lying lands get flooded, looking like a huge sheet of water.

The rainy season is beneficial to us in many ways. Nature looks different when the rainy season starts. Everything becomes green, and the rainwater cleans the earth's surface, removing dirt and making it pure. It also reduces the intense heat of summer and makes the land fertile, perfect for growing better crops.

However, the rainy season is not always perfect. It has some disadvantages too. The roads in the countryside become muddy and slippery, making it hard for people to walk from one place to another. Sometimes, heavy rainfall causes rivers to overflow and leads to floods. So, the rainy season brings both good and bad things.

Despite the few drawbacks, the rainy season is essential for nature and climate. Although there are frequent floods during this time, we can help people overcome their difficulties by taking the right actions.
