Truthfulness of Hazrat Abdul Quadir Zilani (R.) Story
The story of Hazrat Abdul Quadir Zilani (R.) being truthful:
When Hazrat Abdul Quadir Zilani (R.) was a young boy, he went to Baghdad to study. Just before he left home, his mother gave him some advice. She told him to always tell the truth and not to be scared when faced with danger. Baghdad was a long way from his home. He started his journey with a group of traders. The road was dangerous because there were thieves around, and after five days of travel, a group of robbers attacked them. One of the robbers grabbed the boy. The leader of the robbers saw this and said, "Let the boy go. He doesn't have anything valuable." But the boy spoke up and said, "No, you're mistaken. I actually have forty gold coins sewn into my sleeves." The leader of the robbers was surprised and asked why he had told them about his money. The boy replied that his mother had told him not to lie before he left, and he couldn't go against her words. Hearing this, something changed in the robber leader. They decided to stop being thieves and started living an honest life.
