Once upon a time, God decided to make something special. When God made the world for the first time, there were no deserts. The entire world was covered with rich soil and lovely gardens.
To take care of this beautiful world, God made humans. He told humans, "Whenever you do something wrong, a little bit of sand will fall from the moon to the ground."
Humans thought, "A bit of sand falling down won't be a big deal. I'll live the way I want to." They started doing really bad things, and those little bits of sand began to fall. But humans kept on doing wrong things. And now, that's why we have so many deserts today.
