The Dreaming Astronomer-Positive moral stories
Once upon a time, there was a person who really loved looking at the sky and studying things like stars and the moon. They would often go outside at night to watch these things in the sky. One night, they went to the highest part of their building to watch the moon and stars. They were so interested in what they were seeing that they didn't realize they were walking too close to the edge of the building. They accidentally slipped and fell into a hole in the ground. They started yelling for help, but there was nobody around to hear them.
Finally, someone passing by heard the yells and came to help. They pulled the person out of the hole and asked, "How did you end up in this hole?" The sky-watcher said, "I was so focused on looking at the sky that I didn't see the edge and I fell in." The passerby then asked, "How can you expect to discover things when you don't pay attention to what's right in front of you?" The sky-watcher walked away feeling sad.
Moral of the story: What's real and happening around you is more important than just dreaming and looking far away.
