Gender Discrimination Paragraph
Gender discrimination means treating people unfairly based on their gender. It happens when someone is not given their rights just because they are a certain gender. In our society, women are the ones who suffer the most from this discrimination. It starts right from when they are born and continues until they die. Men dominate our society and they believe that boys will make money for the family while girls should only do housework. Because of this belief, boys are always given more importance and better opportunities in families. On the other hand, girls are expected to do household chores and get married as soon as possible. They don't get the chance to develop their hidden talents. Some girls may go to school, but after marriage, they are only expected to have children and take care of them. This difference in treatment harms their mental well-being. They start to believe that they are not as good as men. However, for our society to progress, both men and women need to contribute equally because women make up half of our population. Men alone cannot bring about social and economic changes without the help of women. The solution to this problem lies in creating awareness among people in general.
