To prevent getting infected by the Dengue virus, it's crucial to take precautions in advance. Keeping our surroundings clean is key so that mosquitoes don't have a place to live. Aedes mosquitoes typically breed in clean water, so we need to be cautious about water storage areas. It's important to make sure that there is no standing water for more than three days to stop Aedes mosquitoes from reproducing. Regular cleaning of streets, removing containers that can collect water, and cleaning drainage systems are also very important. The city authorities should take an active role in keeping the city clean to protect its residents from the Dengue virus.
