Paragraph on Our Beloved Bangladesh
Bangladesh is our special homeland. It's a small country in South Asia near the Bay of Bengal. Even though it's small, it has a large population. The total land area is about 1,47,570 square kilometers. The Bay of Bengal is located to the south of the country. Bangladesh was ruled by the British for around 200 years. Then, in 1947, the Indian Sub-continent was divided into two countries—India/Hindustan and Pakistan. At that time, Bangladesh was part of Pakistan. In 1971, Bangladesh gained independence for the second time. In our country, there are different groups of people with different religions. The main religions practiced are Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, and Buddhism. Bangladesh is known for its natural beauty. There are some lovely tourist spots such as Cox's Bazar, Bagerhat, the Sundarbans, the National Memorial at Savar, and Paharpur in Dinajpur. Dhaka is the capital city of our country.
