There are a lot of people living here, around 7 million. Dhaka has a rich history and is often called the 'City of Mosques.' Nowadays, it is the main center for politics, culture, and the economy in Bangladesh. In the past, during the Mughal rule in the 17th century, the city was known as Jahangir Nagar.

There are many interesting places to visit in Dhaka. Some of them include mosques, Hindu temples, churches, the National Memorial, Lalbagh Fort, Mukti Juddha Museum, Ahsan Manzil Museum, Curzon Hall, the Old High Court Building, Dhaka Zoo, the National Museum, Botanical Garden, Central Shahid Minar, Banga Bhaban, and Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban. Dhaka also has numerous educational institutions.

Dhaka has a hot, wet, and humid tropical climate. It falls within the monsoon climate zone, experiencing heavy rainfall during the monsoon season. The majority of people in Dhaka speak Bengali, the national language. English is also spoken by many people, especially for business purposes.

Most of the people in Dhaka city follow the Muslim faith, while there are also Hindu and Christian communities. People from different backgrounds and religions live here peacefully. I am very happy and content living in Dhaka. I feel proud to call it my home.
