Paragraph on The Jute
Jute is a special kind of material that comes from plants. People in Bangladesh call it the "golden fiber" because it is really important to their country. In fact, 70% of the money Bangladesh gets from other countries comes from jute. Jute plants grow really well in Bangladesh, especially in the flat areas. To make sure the land is ready, farmers dig it up with a plow. Then, from March to April, they plant the jute seeds. As the plants start to grow taller, the farmers remove any unwanted plants from the fields. After three or four months, the plants are cut down and put in water to rot. After two or three weeks, the rotten plants are taken out and the jute fiber is separated from the rest of the plant. It's washed with clean water and dried in the sun. This is how jute becomes ready to be sold.
Jute is really useful to us in many ways. It can be used to make ropes, paper, and clothes. The leftover parts of the plant are used as fuel and for making fences. People even eat the young leaves of the jute plant as a vegetable. Bangladesh sells jute to other countries, and this brings in a lot of money from outside. Jute is like a treasure for Bangladesh and it is really helpful to us.
