A Liar Shepherd Story
Once upon a time, there was a young boy who took care of a group of sheep near a forest. The forest wasn't very far from where he lived in his village. One day, the boy got an idea to play a prank on the villagers. He wanted to have some fun. So, he started shouting, "Help! Help! There's a wolf!" The villagers who were close to the forest heard his cries and rushed to help him. But when they arrived, they saw that there was no wolf and the boy was laughing at them. The clever boy had tricked them, and the villagers left feeling foolish.
A few days later, the boy played the same trick again. He shouted for help, and once more, the villagers came rushing to his aid. But again, there was no wolf. This happened a couple of times, and each time, the villagers fell for the boy's trick.
Then, one day, a real wolf appeared and attacked the sheep. The boy quickly climbed up a tree and began shouting for help. The villagers heard his cries, but because he had tricked them before, they thought he was playing another prank. Sadly, no one came to help him. The wolf managed to kill one of the sheep and carried it away. The boy felt really bad about what had happened because of his foolish jokes.
After this incident, the boy realized the importance of telling the truth and not fooling others. He made a promise to himself that he would never lie or trick people again.
Moral of the story: Always be honest and truthful.
