Obedience to mother

Bayazid Bostami was a really special saint. When he was a young boy, he was super good at listening to his mom. He really loved and respected his mom a lot.

One night, Bayazid was reading at his table. It was really late, and his mom was sleeping deeply. She wasn't feeling well. All of a sudden, Bayazid's sick mom woke up from her sleep and asked him for some water. Bayazid went to get some water from a big jar, but he found out there wasn't any water left in it. So, he went all the way to a faraway fountain with the jar to get some water for his mom.

But by the time Bayazid came back, his mom had fallen asleep again. He stood quietly next to her bed, holding the jar of water all through the night. When morning came, his mom woke up and saw Bayazid standing there with the water. She was really surprised and happy to see him. She remembered everything that had happened. She felt an extra special love for Bayazid in her heart. She gave him a big hug and prayed for him with all her heart.

The lesson from this story is that listening to and obeying our moms is really important. It shows how much we care for them and makes them feel very loved.
