Self-employment means working for yourself. It's like having your own job or business instead of working for someone else. When a person arranges their own work, it's called self-employment. In Bangladesh, there are different ways to be self-employed, like being a mechanic, driver, painter, fish farmer, or poultry farmer. There are centers where young people can learn how to be self-employed. They can get training and sometimes loans to start their own businesses. Most of the time, they succeed. Being self-employed is really good because it helps poor, uneducated, and even educated but jobless people find work and change their lives. Their jobs might be small, but they're important and respectable. Being independent is the best way to rely on yourself.
