A dialogue between two friends about the vegetable

Baqir: Hi, Najam. Good morning!
Najam: Good morning! How are you?
B: I'm good. How about you?
N: I'm doing well, thanks to God's kindness.
B: You seem eager to head home quickly. It's Saturday today, and you don't have classes. Why the rush?
N: I need to take this grocery to my mom. We're expecting lunch guests. Saturdays are when I do a lot of housework.
B: Like what?
N: On Saturdays, I clean windows, doors, and dust around the house. That's my indoor task.
B: Do you work outside too?
N: Yes, we have a vegetable garden. My dad is retired and works in the garden daily. I help him on weekends with digging, making seed beds, weeding, fixing the fence, and more.
B: Do you grow enough veggies?
N: Yes, we usually don't buy them. We have plenty for us and extras. I can tell you about why a veggie diet is great – Japanese scientists say it lowers heart disease and cancer risks. Veggies have vitamin C and properties preventing cancer. It helps with hypertension and diabetes too. Veggie diets reduce cholesterol and increase longevity.
B: I see the benefits. What veggies do you grow?
N: We grow okra, tomatoes, bitter gourd, eggplants, snake gourd, green beans, and leafy greens.
B: No carrots, cabbages, or cauliflower?
N: No, they don't grow well here.
B: Fertilizers?
N: Nah, we use compost, cow dung, ash, and insecticides occasionally.
B: I'll visit to learn about gardening.
N: It's great – fresh veggies daily, exercise, and joy. Not as easy as it seems.
B: Is gardening tough?
N: Not really. Keep it clean, especially in the rain. Few minutes daily for weeding, major work on weekends.
B: I'll check your garden out. Bye for now!
N: Goodbye! See you tomorrow.
