Hello Vicky,

I hope you're doing well! Your last letter made me really happy. You asked me about my country, and I'm excited to tell you all about it.

Bangladesh is a lovely country in Asia. It's not very big, about 147,570 square kilometers, and we have around 160 million people living here. It's surrounded by India on three sides - to the west, north, and east. A part of it touches Myanmar, and we also have the Bay of Bengal to the south. Because there are so many people here, it's crowded. We eat a lot of rice, and other foods like fish, meat, wheat, and vegetables. Almost everyone speaks Bengali, our language. Most of the people are Muslim, but we also have Hindus, Christians, Buddhists, and more. Our weather is usually warm and dry. We have three main seasons: summer, monsoon (rainy season), and winter. We're lucky to have lots of things in our land, like natural gas. Our country is naturally very pretty. We have the Sundarbans, which is the biggest mangrove forest in the world. And our Cox's Bazar has the longest beach! In our country, we have many famous poets. One of them, Kazi Nazrul Islam, is our national poet.

That's about it for now. Take care and talk to you soon!

Warmly,
Shamim

[Don't forget to put the address on the envelope.]
