A Paragraph on Food Adulteration for Class 6
Food adulteration means making food or drink impure by adding or mixing something else into it. Nowadays, people sometimes mix bad or spoiled food with good food in places like hotels and restaurants, and then they serve it to customers. Fish and vegetables might have things added to them that are not good, like chemicals, so they look fresh when they're not really. Junk food can have harmful stuff in it too. Even milk and fruits can be changed to not be what they're supposed to be. Actually, lots of different kinds of food can be messed with by people who want to make more money. Some dishonest people put things like formalin in fish and fruits to make them last longer. They add urea to fried rice to make it whiter and bigger. Eating food that's been messed with is bad for our health. It can give us really bad sicknesses and sometimes even cause death. These foods can hurt our heart, liver, kidneys, and bones. So, we need to be careful about what we eat. The government should watch over the stores and places where we buy food to make sure they're being honest. And if someone does something bad, they should be punished a lot so others won't do the same.
