Diaspora Paragraph For HSC

Dear students, the paragraph about "Diaspora" is really important for intermediate-level readers. Sometimes, this paragraph might even appear in your exams. So, I'll present it to you in a clear and simple way, along with its meaning.

Diaspora Paragraph

Diaspora means when people leave their home country and settle in other parts of the world. They might leave willingly or be forced to leave. Scholars have started studying this idea more closely in recent years. The Jews were the first recorded diaspora in history. They were made to leave their land. Long ago, a person named Abraham, who was an ancestor of the Jews, had to leave Iraq and went to Egypt. Later, his descendants, the Jews, had to leave Egypt and went to Palestine. Many years later, they were again made to leave Palestine and went to Europe and America. Another important diaspora is when Aryans moved from Central Europe to India, but the reasons aren't clear. Nowadays, the word "diaspora" is used to talk about big movements of people, language, or culture. For example, when around 850,000 to 950,000 Rohingya people fled from Myanmar to Bangladesh in 2017. Globalization is now a main reason for diaspora. If we work to stop wars and make life better for everyone in the world, we can help prevent diaspora. Leaders around the world need to take steps to stop it.
