Failure is the Pillar of Success | Robert Bruce Story
Once upon a time, there was a good king named Robert Bruce in Scotland. He really cared about his country and the people who lived there. But there was a problem. The English King, Edward-I, didn't want Scotland to be free. This led to a big fight between Robert Bruce and the English Army. Sadly, Bruce lost the fight and had to leave his kingdom.
He had to hide in a cave. He didn't give up, though. He tried to get his kingdom back many times. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't win. He lost a lot of his brave soldiers and things were looking really bad.
All this failure made Bruce really sad and hopeless. He was about to give up completely.
One day, while he was sitting in the cave feeling down, he saw a spider. The spider was trying to climb up to the top of the cave. It fell down a few times, but it didn't give up. It tried over and over again, and finally, it succeeded on its seventh try.
Seeing the spider's determination gave Bruce a new feeling of hope. He decided to not give up just like the spider. He gathered his army again and fought the English with everything he had. This time, he won!
Learning from the little spider, Bruce got rid of the bad feelings and doubts. He kicked out the enemies and got his kingdom back.
Remember, if things don't go well at first, don't get too sad. Even if you fail, it can help you succeed later. Just like the spider, don't stop trying. That's the lesson from the story of Robert Bruce.
