Hungry Fox - Grapes Are Sour
Once upon a time, in a big forest, there lived a fox. It was a really hot day, and the fox was feeling very hungry and thirsty. So, he began looking around for something to eat and drink. But no matter how hard he looked, he couldn't find any food. He searched for a very long time, wandering through the woods, but his tummy just kept feeling emptier and emptier. He walked all over the place, hoping to find something to fill his tummy. Eventually, he stumbled upon a place with lots of grapevines.
There were these big, juicy grapes hanging way up high. The fox got super excited when he saw them and thought, "Wow, those grapes look so juicy and tasty! They would make an amazing meal." He really wanted to eat some of them. But oh no! The grapes were all hanging way above where he could reach.
The fox started leaping and jumping, trying his best to get those grapes, but no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't reach them. He jumped and jumped, but it didn't work out. After many tries, the fox got really tired and felt very sad that he couldn't get those grapes. Finally, he realized that it was pointless to keep trying. He gave up.
Feeling a little down, the fox decided to leave the grapevines behind. He comforted himself by thinking, "Those grapes are sour anyway. I don't even want them."
And so, the lesson of the story is: Sometimes, we don't like things just because we can't have them. It's important not to want things that are too hard to get. Instead, be happy with what you can have.
