Mistakes can lead to success

Long ago, there was a great king named Robert Bruce. He felt very sad while sitting alone in a dark cave. He was thinking about his situation. He really cared about his country and his people. His people also had a lot of love and respect for him. One day, the people who didn't like him attacked his country and made him leave his kingdom. The king fought in many battles to try to get his country back, but he didn't succeed. One day, he was sitting hidden away in a secret place. He felt very unhappy about his bad luck. All of a sudden, he saw a little spider trying to reach the ceiling. The spider tried many times to climb up but fell down every time. Bruce watched the spider very carefully and saw that on the seventh try, the spider finally succeeded in reaching the top. The spider's determination made Bruce feel better. He started to see a little bit of hope. With this new hope, he gathered his scattered forces and faced his enemies once again. This time, he beat his enemies and was able to win. In the end, he got his lost kingdom back.
