Two Cats and Monkey Bread Dividing Completing Story
A long time ago, there were two cats who got themselves into a bit of trouble. They managed to sneak into a house's kitchen and snatch a piece of bread. Now, they both agreed that they should share the bread equally, but they faced a big problem. They didn't know how to split the bread into two equal parts. This made them really upset and they were on the verge of fighting.
Since they couldn't figure out a fair way to divide the bread, the two cats decided to seek help from a monkey. This monkey was known as the smartest animal in the forest, and he was quite cunning too. The cats hoped he could solve their problem. The clever monkey hatched a sneaky plan to trick the cats and get the bread for himself.
The monkey fetched a pair of scales and began to cut the bread into two pieces. However, no matter how he cut it, one side of the scales always ended up heavier than the other. Whenever this happened, the monkey would tear off a bit of the heavier side and eat it. Then he would weigh the bread again. He kept doing this until the bread pieces became very tiny.
The cats soon realized that the monkey was playing a mean trick on them. He was eating more than his fair share while pretending to divide the bread. They stopped the monkey and asked him to return the remaining bread. The monkey, however, got angry and claimed that he had put a lot of effort into this task and deserved the small piece of bread left.
In the end, the two cats lost their bread because of their own naivety. They should have been wiser and not let the monkey take advantage of their situation.
The moral of this story is that being foolish can lead to trouble and loss. It also teaches us that quarreling can bring about unnecessary problems and that involving a third party in a disagreement might not always end well.
