Write a letter to your father requesting him to increase your monthly allowance

Dear Dad,
I hope you're doing well. I wanted to talk to you about something important. You know, after being home for a few days, I really missed you and the family. Your letter yesterday made me feel connected.
Now, I have something on my mind that's a bit sensitive, but I think it's important to discuss. So, I decided to write you this letter. These days, the cost of things has gone up a lot, and honestly, it's becoming tough for me to handle my expenses with the monthly allowance you send. The college I'm in now is a bit far from the hostel, so I'm spending more on transportation. Also, the hostel fees have gone up by 500 rupees, and on top of that, the new course is pretty challenging. I've been thinking about joining an academy to help with my studies, but all these extra expenses are making it really hard for me to manage.
Because of these money problems, it's getting really tough for me to focus on my studies. So, here's what I'm thinking: could you please consider increasing my monthly allowance by 1,000 rupees? I believe this would help me cover my expenses and give me a little more breathing room.
