A Rainy Day
A rainy day happens when it rains all day long. On such days, the sky is covered with clouds and the sun cannot be seen. The day appears dark and gloomy. Sometimes the rain is heavy, and other times it's light drizzle. Lightning and thunderstorms often occur in the sky. Birds tend to stay on tree branches and don't fly around much. Cattle remain in their pens. People usually stay inside on such days. The roads can become muddy and slippery, making it hard to move around. People use umbrellas to stay dry when going outside. Those who don't have umbrellas end up getting wet. It's not easy to go out unless necessary.
Rainy days can be tough for poor people. They can't work or earn money because of the rain. This makes their situation difficult. Students, on the other hand, find rainy days enjoyable. Classes are canceled, so they have free time. Some people spend time chatting, playing cards, singing, or listening to music. Some roads might even get flooded, making travel even more challenging.
