Composition | A Hockey Match
Last Saturday, there was an intense hockey match between Dawn School and D.V.S. School. Many spectators, mostly students, came to watch the final match of the Inter-school Hockey tournament. Both teams had high hopes and believed they would easily win.
At exactly 5 p.m., the referee blew the whistle, and both teams entered the field. The game started right after the coin toss. It was a fast-paced game from the beginning. The Dawn School team took control of the game right away. Their good teamwork and spirit helped them a lot. The D.V.S. School team struggled to defend against their opponents' attacks. At one point, the Dawn School team scored a goal, but unfortunately, the referee blew the whistle for a rule violation called "sticks" just at that moment. Soon after, the D.V.S. School team gathered their energy and surprised the Dawn School team with a sudden offensive. However, they couldn't score a goal. So, the first half of the match ended without any goals. Everyone looked forward to an exciting second half.
After the break, the match resumed with renewed enthusiasm. It was fast-paced and thrilling from the start. The boys from the Dawn School attacked their opponents aggressively but were quickly pushed back. Everyone's attention turned to the center forward of the D.V.S. School. He caught the ball, outsmarted the Dawn School boys, dashed into the "D" at full speed, and with a lucky scoop, put the ball into the net, surprising everyone with a clear goal. The Dawn School team became even more active than before. They put all their energy and strength into the game. They attempted to score a goal several times but faced disappointment each time. Finally, the captain of the Dawn School team made a desperate attempt. He took the ball, confused all his opponents, ran straight towards their goal, and scored with a well-placed shot. The crowd cheered loudly. Only five minutes were left in the game. An exciting final phase followed, but neither team managed to score another goal, resulting in an exciting draw to end the match.
