Composition | A Holiday Trip/ A Day At The Seaside/ A Picnic

Last summer, we had a fun day at Hawk's Bay with our friends. Hawk's Bay is about eight kilometers away from where we live. We all decided to take a taxi to get there. It was a happy gathering. We set off happily towards the seaside. The weather was nice, with a cool breeze and some clouds in the sky.

We arrived at the seaside around 9 A.M. and couldn't help but smile at each other in joy. We were in the mood to have as much fun as possible. We brought plenty of food and fruit with us. Since we needed a break in the afternoon, we rented a hut. First, we had some snacks and then decided to tell jokes. We all shared the jokes we could remember. We laughed so much that we forgot about our worries and problems.

As the sun grew hotter, we decided to leave the hut. There was a big crowd there, and everyone was enjoying themselves. We strolled along the shore and collected pebbles and shells. We even had a great time rowing a boat. It was a very pleasant experience. Later, we went for a swim in the water for about an hour. We played different games while in the water. We had brought a rubber canoe with us. Some of us inflated it and rowed against the incoming waves. Time flew by quickly, and soon we felt hungry.

Lunchtime arrived, and each of us had brought delicious dishes prepared at home. We started eating and enjoyed every bite. We didn't hold back and ate to our heart's content. After lunch, the entertainment began. Asif surprised us with his singing talents. We had no idea he was such a good singer. Then another friend came forward to tell funny stories. His stories were filled with humor and had us laughing uncontrollably. We also played cards for a while.

One of the things I enjoyed the most was watching the sunset. I saw the sun slowly descend, losing its intensity and heat. It touched the horizon and disappeared. The sky turned orange. The gradual sinking of the sun into the Arabian Sea was a magnificent and splendid sight. As the sun set, everything around us transformed into a completely different scene. The whole setting was beautiful.

We cherished every moment of our trip to the seaside. The happiness we shared will stay fresh in our memories for a long time. By now, we were quite tired and ready to go home. We hired two taxis and returned home around 9 P.M., after having a full day of enjoyment.
