Composition | A Road Accident
A few days ago, a very serious crash happened on the road in front of our school. It was recess time, and most of us were gathered in small groups under the trees next to the road. We saw two big cars coming towards us from opposite directions. When the cars were about ten yards away from each other, they both left their sides of the road and collided with each other. The impact was so strong that it caught the attention of almost everyone nearby. Within a few minutes, a large crowd had gathered around the two overturned cars. The engines were completely damaged, and the drivers and passengers in the front seats had died. The people sitting in the back were seriously injured and shocked. Fortunately, neither of the vehicles caught fire.
I immediately ran to the school office and called the police and the ambulance. At the same time, the members of our school's ambulance brigade, called Ehdi Ambulance Brigade, arrived at the scene. With the help of some onlookers, they lifted the cars and assisted the surviving passengers in getting out. Most of them were unconscious, and others were in pain, groaning. The ambulance brigade provided them with whatever medical help they could.
A few minutes later, an ambulance and a police van arrived at the scene. The police officers measured the road but didn't take any statements because both drivers had died and the surviving passengers were unconscious. The ambulance attendants and nurses had a hard time removing the bodies of the deceased from the wrecked cars. Many of the helpers couldn't bear the gruesome task and even fainted. While the dead bodies were being taken out, the injured passengers were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The road where the accident occurred was a horrifying sight. There were pools of blood everywhere, and pieces of flesh torn from the bodies were scattered around. The wrecked vehicles were taken to the traffic office. They are still there, serving as a grim reminder of what can happen when people are careless on the road.
