Composition | A Village Fair I Visited
Every year, my village organizes a fair on Baisakhi day. Baisakhi always falls on the thirteenth day of April. It's an important day for farmers because they start harvesting their crops. So, people in the village celebrate this day with lots of happiness, although each village has its own unique way of celebrating. Last year, I went to see the Baisakhi fair in my village. It was held in a big area just outside the village.
Many people from nearby villages came to the fair. There were many stalls selling various things. At some stalls, you could find lots of sweets and other tasty food. People were choosing their favorite foods from these stalls.
Different stalls had different items for sale. Some stalls had colorful toys, balloons, and balls. There was a big crowd at the stalls selling things for ladies, like glass bangles, bracelets, necklaces, nail polish, lipstick, and other fake jewelry.
In one corner, a magician was performing tricks. In another corner, a snake charmer was playing his pipe and a Cobra snake with its hood raised was there, while a large group of people stood around watching.
Overall, the fair was really fun. I enjoyed it a lot and gained practical knowledge from it.
