Composition | An Street Accident I Witnessed

Accidents are really sad for families. They bring darkness to a family's future.

Street accidents are the most dangerous things that can happen in daily life. They can cause a lot of damage and hurt people badly. Sometimes they take away our loved ones forever.

I saw a really heartbreaking accident once. It happened on December 25, 2011. I was on a bus going from Dhaka to my village in Comilla. The bus was going fast without any stops. All of a sudden, I saw a taxi coming towards us from the opposite direction, going really fast. There were two young men, a young woman, and three children inside the taxi. The driver was driving recklessly. Out of nowhere, the taxi moved to the wrong side and crashed into our bus, which was going fast too. Thankfully, our bus didn't get damaged because it was strong and heavy. But in an instant, all I could see were broken pieces of the taxi and injured bodies. People rushed to help the passengers, but sadly, they had all died, and there was a lot of blood flowing on the street.

It was my first time witnessing such a horrible street accident. I somehow managed to stay calm, even though I felt like I was losing my mind. The accident destroyed a family. I left the scene feeling shocked. Whenever I think about that incident, my hair stands on end, and my heart starts trembling.
