Composition | The Last Summer Vacation I Spent

Summer vacation is the most wanted break for all students. Every student eagerly waits for these long holidays and plans how to spend these days however they want.

When our school announced this long-awaited vacation this year, I decided to visit my friends, family, and, most importantly, my village home. I spent the first few days of my vacation visiting my friends and relatives. I went to my close friend's house and stayed with them for two days. I suggested that we visit my village, and my friend agreed without hesitation. Then we went to my aunt's house together. Finally, I went to my village home with my friend and cousin. My uncle and other family members were very happy to see us. They warmly welcomed us and offered us sweets. We woke up early in the morning and enjoyed the fresh air and peaceful atmosphere.

Every day, we explored the green fields, mango gardens, and shared joys and sorrows with the villagers and children. I quickly became close to the kind-hearted villagers. Sometimes, we looked for bird nests, caught fish in the pond, went to the village markets, and witnessed the villagers' way of life with our own eyes.

I have been living in the city with my parents since I was born, so I didn't know how to swim. During my time in the village, my cousin taught me how to swim. On the day before school started again, we returned to the city, leaving behind my dreamy life in the village.

That's how I spent my summer vacation in the village with my friends and relatives. After the vacation, I started my lessons again with a fresh and lively mind.
