Story | Compromise Is Always Fruitful

Once there was a wealthy man who wanted to go on a trip. He decided to hire a donkey to carry him, and the donkey's owner came along too. They started their journey, with the rich man sitting on the donkey's back and the owner following behind.

Around noon, the sun became extremely hot, and the rich man felt tired. He got off the donkey to take a break. Since there were no trees around for shade, he decided to sit in the shadow of the donkey. The donkey's owner also felt hot and wanted to rest in the donkey's shadow. He politely asked the rich man to move away so that he could rest too.

The rich man replied, "Why should I move? I hired the donkey, so I have the right to sit in its shadow." The owner disagreed and said, "Yes, you hired the donkey, but not its shadow." They argued about this and soon started fighting.

While they were busy fighting, the donkey took the opportunity to run away, leaving them behind. When they realized what had happened, they regretted their actions. The owner had lost his donkey, and the rich man had to continue his journey on foot. Both of them had to endure the scorching sun without the comfort of the donkey or its shadow.
