Once upon a time, there was a king named Robert Bruce. He was in charge of Scotland and he was a very brave and kind man. The king of England wanted to take over his land, so he attacked Scotland. King Robert Bruce was caught off guard and he was defeated in the battle. To save his life, he ran away and found shelter in a cave.

One day, while he was sitting in the cave, feeling sad about his situation, he noticed a small spider trying to climb up to its web, which was placed high above. Every time the spider got close to the web, it would fall down. But the spider didn't give up and kept trying to reach its web. Finally, after many attempts, the spider succeeded in reaching the web.

King Robert Bruce felt inspired by the spider's determination and it gave him new hope. He gathered his army and fought against his enemy. Eventually, he defeated the king of England and regained control of his territory. King Robert Bruce ruled over Scotland until he passed away.
