Story | Much Wants More, Loose All

Once upon a time, there was a farmer who lived in a village. He had a special goose that did something amazing—it laid a golden egg every single day. The farmer, however, was a very greedy man. He believed that the goose must have many more golden eggs inside its belly. He became consumed with the desire to have all the eggs at once so he could become rich instantly.

One day, an idea struck the farmer. He came up with a plan to kill the goose and retrieve all the golden eggs from its belly. He thought that by selling those eggs, he would finally achieve his dream of becoming wealthy. Excited about his plan, the farmer shared it with his wife. Although his wife was wise and knew that greed was not a good thing, she tried to advise her husband against his selfish plan. She told him, "Don't be greedy. Let's be content with what we already have." Unfortunately, the farmer didn't listen to his wife's wise words.

Driven by his greed, the farmer took a sharp knife and killed the goose. He then cut open its belly with anticipation. To his great disappointment, he discovered that there were no golden eggs inside. The greedy farmer had lost his precious goose, which had been so useful to him.
