Story | Pride Hath A Fall

Once upon a hot day, a male deer went to a spring to drink some water. While he was drinking, he saw his reflection in the clear water. "Wow!" he exclaimed, "My antlers look so nice!" However, he couldn't bear to look at his thin and ugly legs. He wished they were as beautiful as his antlers. Just then, he heard the sound of a hunter's horn and the barking of dogs. He quickly ran away to save himself. It turned out that his despised legs helped him reach a safe place. But his beloved antlers got stuck in some bushes. He tried his best to free himself, but it was hopeless. The dogs caught up to him and tore him apart. The beautiful antlers that he had admired so much ended up causing his death.
