Composition | Terrorism
Terrorism is when people use violence to hurt others. They might do it to protest or to show how strong they are. No matter why they do it, terrorism is against what it means to be human.
There are different kinds of terrorism. Some is done by groups within a country, like the PLO and IRA, who want to use violence to get what they want politically. Sometimes even the police can do terrorism, like Hitler's police. In Bangladesh, there is a political group called the Sarbahara Party that uses terrorism.
In Bangladesh, all the schools and colleges are filled with terrorist activities. Students from different parties fight each other and kill each other every day. Strength and violence are more important than learning. The idea of education is disrespected.
The young people are the ones who suffer from terrorism. They both do the killing and get killed. Their leaders stay in the background and stay safe.
The main reason for terrorism is the way politics works, which is not democratic. Most political parties, both the ones in power and the ones in opposition, use violence to play their games. Armed groups take over schools and colleges, and people get shot everywhere.
To stop terrorism, we need to make the economic situation better for people. We need to create new jobs so that young people don't have to turn to terrorism to make money. The courts and the police need to be fair and take action against terrorism. In general, the political parties hold the key to solving this problem.
Terrorism hasn't ended, but we can control it. The young people are like clay, easily shaped by the people who take care of them. It is our main responsibility to protect them and guide them in the right direction.
