Story | The Camel And The Jackal

Once upon a time, there was a jackal and a camel who were really good friends. They lived together in a forest. One day, the jackal had an idea. He suggested that they should go to a field on the other side of the river where there were delicious melons to eat. The camel liked the idea and agreed to go.

They both crossed the river, with the jackal riding on the camel's back. When they reached the melon field, they started eating the sweet melons. But the jackal couldn't resist making a loud howling sound. The camel was worried and asked the jackal to be quiet, but the jackal said that he always sang after a good meal.

Unfortunately, the loud howling attracted the attention of the farmer who owned the field. He came running with a strong club in his hand and started beating the poor camel mercilessly, while the jackal hid behind a bush and found it amusing. The camel, in great pain, ran towards the river to escape.

As the camel was running, the jackal quickly jumped onto the camel's back. When they reached the middle of the river, the camel stopped and sat down in the water, saying, "After being beaten, it's my habit to enjoy a swim." The jackal cried out for help, but it was too late. He couldn't save himself and drowned in the water.
