Story | The Fox And The Crane

Once upon a time, there was a clever fox who wanted to trick a crane. The fox invited the crane over for a meal. When the crane arrived, the fox served the soup in a flat dish. Sadly, the poor crane couldn't eat the soup because its long beak couldn't reach it. The fox quickly finished the soup and the crane went home hungry and upset about the fox's cunning trick.

The crane decided to get back at the fox and teach it a lesson. So, the crane invited the fox to dinner. When the fox arrived, it saw that the crane had put fish soup in a jar with a long and narrow neck. The fox tried to reach the soup but couldn't. On the other hand, the crane easily reached the soup with its long beak and enjoyed a satisfying meal. The fox realized that the crane had planned this to teach her a lesson. Feeling hungry and defeated, the fox returned home without eating anything.

Moral: “As you sow, so shall you reap.”
