Story | The Frog Prince

Once there was a really pretty princess who had a special ball made of gold. One day, while she was playing in the garden, the ball accidentally fell into a pond. She was really sad and didn't know what to do. While she was sitting there, crying without being able to do anything, a frog hopped out of the pond and asked, "Why are you crying, little princess?" She told the frog about her golden ball. The frog, who wasn't very nice-looking, said, "I can help you get your ball back, but what will you give me in return?" The princess promised, "I will give you anything you want!" Right away, the frog jumped into the water and brought the ball back to her. The princess was so happy! But then the frog reminded her, "Remember, you promised me anything. Well, I want to be your friend, eat from your plate, and sleep in your palace!" The princess really didn't like the idea, but she agreed and hurried back to the palace. The next morning, the princess found the frog waiting for her. He said, "I have come to live in your palace." When the princess heard this, she ran to her dad and cried. When the kind king found out about the promise, he told her, "A promise is a promise, and you must keep your word. You have to let the frog stay here." The princess was really mad, but she didn't have a choice and allowed the frog to stay. During dinner, he ate from her plate, and at night, he asked her to take him to her bed. The princess was very angry and threw him angrily on the floor. Suddenly, in a blink of an eye, the frog turned into a handsome prince! He explained to the princess that he had actually been under a spell cast by a mean witch. The princess fell in love with the prince, and they got married and lived happily ever after.
