Story | The Goat And The Goatherd

Once upon a time, there was a very adventurous Goat. He was young, playful, and always curious about what was on the other side. Whenever he asked the other Goats about it, they just made their usual bleating sounds and went back to eating more grass. The person who took care of the Goats, called the Goatherd, tried very hard to keep this Goat in line and bring him back on time. But the Goat always did his best to stay free and explore as much as he could.

One day, like always, the Goat went off on another adventure. The Goatherd became very upset and shouted, "Oh no! That naughty Goat is missing again! Where did he go this time?" He whistled so much that his throat became dry. He blew his horn so hard that his face turned red. He was tired of everything and just wanted to go home to have a warm dinner by the fire.

Feeling frustrated, the Goatherd threw a stone at the Goat, who was far away. The stone hit the Goat's horn and broke it into two pieces. The Goatherd got scared because he thought the person in charge, called the Master, would get angry at him for breaking the horn. So he pleaded with the Goat, saying, "Please, don't tell the Master that I broke your horn."

The Goat replied, "You silly fellow, I don't need to say anything. The broken horn will tell its own story!"

The moral of the story is: Don't try to hide things that cannot be hidden.
