Composition | The Post Man
A postman is someone we often see delivering letters and packages in both cities and the countryside. Usually, they wear a khaki uniform provided by the postal department. Throughout history, people used to live close to their families, but nowadays, many live far away from their loved ones. Relatives are always worried about receiving news from their family members, so the postman plays an important role in helping them stay connected.
The postman is not very well-paid for the work they do. However, they are known to be friendly to the people they serve. They collect and organize letters, putting them into their bag and then setting off to deliver them to the correct addresses. They also carry parcels and packages. The postman's work starts in the morning when the sun rises and continues until the evening when the sun sets. Despite the weather conditions, a postman must be responsible, energetic, and kind-hearted. Sometimes, they work diligently despite the sun or rain.
First, the postman opens the mailbox and takes out the letters. Then they stamp the letters with a date and perform their duties according to the office schedule. After that, they go from house to house, delivering the items. People from all walks of life consider the postman as their friend. In society, they hold a special position. It is important for us to show respect and value the postman as an essential person in our lives.
