Story | The Rope Dancer
Rope dancing is fun to watch, but it's really difficult to learn! There was a young boy who wanted to learn this skill, so he asked an old and wise teacher for help. The teacher had a special idea to help the boy stay balanced on the rope. He told the boy to carry a long and heavy pole while learning to dance. This would keep him steady and prevent him from falling and getting hurt.
The boy was graceful and quickly learned how to dance on the rope. But one day, he complained to his teacher, saying that it would be much easier without the heavy pole. He thought he could do it without it. The teacher disagreed and told him that the pole would help him balance better.
However, the boy didn't listen and threw the pole away. He started dancing on the rope without it. The teacher watched with worry as the boy slipped and fell to the ground! He quickly ran to the boy and scolded him, calling him a silly child. He explained that this was the consequence of not following his advice.
The boy got up and brushed off the dirt. He realized his mistake and felt grateful that he hadn't seriously injured himself during the fall. The teacher then told him, "If you listen to me, you will never fall again." The boy happily agreed to always follow the teacher's advice.
Moral: It's important to listen to and follow the good advice given by teachers and older people.
